The CP6000 built-in Control Panels are designed for installation in the control cabinet. All CP7000 series Control Panels are now also available as built-in devices. Only 4 mm of the front are visible in front of the control cabinet wall. Installation is via pull-out clamping levers, making the process very simple. There are no loose parts. The CP6000 built-in Control Panels are available with 6.5, 10, 12, 15, 18 or 20 inch TFT display, with touch screen or touch pad, as monitor without keypad or with different membrane keypad models up to full alphanumeric keyboards with 10 special PLC keys and 10 LEDs. The same range of push-button extensions with electromechanical keys is available as for the CP7000 series.

The built-in Control Panels are optionally available with DVI/USB interface for distances of up to 5 m away from the PC or with CP-Link interface for distances of up to 100 m away from the PC. In combination with the add-on PC CP6x00, you have a powerful built-in Industrial PC.

CP6800 In addition to the proven Beckhoff CP-Link connection between a Control Panel and the PC, now, a standard USB and DVI interface can be used to interface to a Control Panel. The Digital Visual Interface (DVI), defined as VGA successor standard, transfers the image the the LC display. The Universal Serial Bus, USB, permits connection of Control Panels components as mouse or keyboard to the PC. For distances up to 5 metres (15 ft.), all Beckhoff Control Panels of the CP60xx and CP70xx series are available with the cost efficient DVI/USB interface as CP68xx and CP78xx as an alternative to the CP-Link connection. Only a „commercial of the shelfˇ° AGP graphic card with DVI output and a USB port available on every motherboard are build the interface, no additional plug-in card is required in the PC. Windows 2000 and Windows XP is ideally suited for operation of the Control Panel via the DVI/USB connection. Special keys are supported via TwinCAT driver software.
