The Industrial PC series C6200 is designed for installation into control cabinets. These Industrial PCs make a perfect fit with the Beckhoff Control Panel as the display unit, providing a high performance platform, particularly for the use of Beckhoff TwinCAT under Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

The control cabinet PC series C6200 incorporates several modules of different sizes, all suited for highest performance standard components with Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium III or Pentium IV processor on a standard ATX motherboard or PISA slot motherboard with a socket 370 FC-PGA. C6240 and C6250 are also available with Pentium IV on an ATX motherboard with socket 478. All C6200 series PCs are based on a unified layout designed to maximise use of available space and allow easy access to components.

The industrial PC corresponds to the ATX standard dimensions: it guarantees compatibility with replacement parts and new PC components to arrive on the market over the next years: A PC upgrade may include a change of motherboard, CPU or disks, but does not affect the housing: as the ATX standard provides upgradeability over years, true openness is guaranteed. The RAM is expandable from 64 MB to 1 GB.

All PC connections outlet to the front. The internal chassis is pulled forwards on telescopic guide supports, allowing easy access to all installed components.

The series C6200 PCs are supplied with a 100 - 240 V AC full range or 24 V DC power supply unit. An industrial latching plug-in connector is used for the power supply.

Card holders protect the plug-in cards from impact and vibration. The card holders can be attached and removed without tools. Data on the function, type and use of resources such as memory and interrupts is listed on the front.

-	The C6210 is equipped as a 4 slot housing with an PISA slot motherboard on a passive backplane. 1 ISA and 1 combined ISA / PCI slot are freely available for up to 190 mm long cards. A floppy disk drive is part of the basic configuration, as an option a slim line CD-ROM drive can be installed instead.
-	The C6220 is equipped as a 6 slot housing with an PISA slot motherboard on a passive backplane. 1 ISA and 1 combined ISA / PCI slot are freely available for up to 190 mm long cards. A floppy disk drive is part of the basic configuration, as an option a slim line CD-ROM drive can be installed instead.
-	The C6240 is equipped as a 7 slot housing with an ATX motherboard. Depending on the motherboard, up to 4 ISA and up to 5 PCI plug-in cards of up to 190 mm length are available in different ISA/PCI combinations. The base model contains a floppy disk drive but a slim-line CD-ROM drive is additionally available as an option.
-	The C6250 is also equipped as a 7 slot housing with an ATX motherboard. Depending on the motherboard, up to 4 ISA and up to 5 PCI cards of up to 220 mm length are available in different ISA/PCI combinations. In addition to the floppy disk drive in the base model, two 51/4 inch drive bays are accessible from the front. Additional room to install two 31/2 inch hard disks or drive bay devices is available, e.g. for floppy disk drive, ZIP, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM.

The C6250 housing can be installed horizontally or vertically into the control cabinet. In any assembly orientation of the computer, the drives can be mounted horizontally.
