| The C5100 series of 19 inch plug-in industrial PCs, fitted
with Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium III or Pentium 4 processor on a
slot motherboard with socket 370 or on a standard ATX motherboard
with a socket 370 or socket 478 for Pentium 4, offers controllers
of the highest performance class. The 19 inch plug-in housing measures
only 4 high units, yet has plenty of internal space for extensions
of any form. Present and future available drives, such as hard disks
of any capacity, floppy disk drives, ZIP, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM,
DVD-RAM and other drives can be fitted behind the lockable front door.
The type plate provides detailed information regarding the PC's configuration. Data on the function, type and use of resources such as memory and interrupts is listed for the fitted plug-in cards. Data about drives indicates not just the manufacturer and type, but also provides information about connection and jumpers. Ingenious ventilation creates a greater pressure inside than outside of the housing, effectively preventing the entry of dust. The filter at the inlet fan can easily be exchanged, if the Front flap is open. A stable card holder generates insensitivity to impacts and vibration. A C5100 series industrial PC with a Beckhoff Control Panel as its operating unit create an ideal combination. |

| Fittings The computing power is scalable up to the highest performance class. The construction of the housing ensures long-term compatibility with replacement parts over the next years. A slot for a 31/2 inch drive and three 51/4 inch drive slots are accessible behind the lockable front door. |
