| The built-in industrial PC series C3600, fitted with an
Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium III or Pentium IV processor on a standard
ATX motherboard with a socket 370 or socket 478 for Pentium IV, offers
controllers of the highest performance class, with a 12 or 15 inch
TFT display, as a display/computer unit or with touch screen. The
housing is opened from the back. All com-ponents are rapidly and easily
accessible. The RAM is expandable from 64 MB to 1 GB. The floppy disk
drive and CD-ROM or CD-RW are accessible from the back for commissioning,
software update and data backup purposes. Card holders protect the
plug-in cards from impact and vibration. The holders snap in mechanism
operates without tools, screws or loose parts. A display on the back shows detailed information about the PC configuration, e. g. function, type and use of resources such as memory and interrupts, jumpers and connections. |

| ATX standard equipment The industrial PC corresponds to the ATX standard and will therefore be compatible with all new PC components to arrive on the market in the next few years. The computing power is scalable up to the highest performance class. The housing design in ATX standard dimensions guarantees compatibility with replacement parts over the next years: A PC upgrade may include a change of motherboard, CPU or disks, but does not affect the housing or display: as the ATX standard provides upgradeability over years, true openness is guaranteed. The drives are accessible from the back of the housing. The base model comes with a 31/2 inch floppy disk drive. A slim-line CD-ROM or CD-RW can also be integrated if required. After opening the housing the drives can be removed without the use of tools. |
